Lyons Takeaway Clonmel

Good quality has remained good over the years but the portions are getting steadily smaller and more expensive. I understand rising costs for food businesses but the size of the sauces now that are still 2.30 like when they were much more than double the size is such a rip off . Smallest sauce portion I’ve seen in any takeaway , and paying nearly a fiver for two tiny portions of sauce is really disappointing . Barely enough for a couple chips. Please stop making the sizes smaller or just lower the price with this .

A great chipper with fabulous food and good service with on-time deliveries

The food is fantastic and fairly priced:
Fish - generous size, incredibly tasty and comes with a complimentary lemon.
Chips - great, tasty, just good all-round chips.
Chicken - just as good as the fish!

Price: €12 for fish and chips meal (fish, chips, can of Coke/other drink), €10 for a chicken strip meal which is fairly priced for the quality of food here.

Service: Good and the deliveries are on time. Last time I ordered I had an ETA of 18:12 and it arrived exactly on time! The app had a good prediction!

Overall, excellent. I recommend this place to anyone who wants the best chipper in Clonmel

Food was 25 minutes late. Baring in mind I live straight up the road. No vinegar on chips, curry sauce was like a thick puree you couldnt pour, food was cold and they forgot a drink. Tried to ring multiple times but couldn't get through. Won't be ordering again as its not the first time there's been issues. Cheek to charge that much and be that late.
